Camera Bag

This bag will be useful when I am using a smaller purse and I want my camera with me.

I love making them but I am not very fond of cloth purses.

I do know 2 little girls that will claim it in a flash... :-)

Works in Progress

My head is like a pipeline where some project is always coming up.

A quilt to be.

Boxes, a bag, and shoes in the making too.

The beginnings of a pillow made up of squares looking like this one.

These will be kept in the family.

Pi Pillow

Another new project where skills are learned.

I just kept attaching the wedges to one another and wondering how the middle would turn out.

It was off a little, hence the button. But it sure looks like a cool accent to me.

In the beginning I laid out the pieces. I did enlarge the pattern when I copied it from the magazine page.

This pillow can be really exciting in bright colors and way bigger, like in a kid's room.

Summer colors

A bag. Orange. Lined. One where I made some modifications, which is what is fun about art.

They shall be organized

Although it is pretty hot in AZ, I sew outside with a fan, as everyone else swims.

I learned about bias tape, and I know what to look for if I have to use it again.

This is one more new and different project I finished.

Backseat organizer

It is coming along, requiring the use of bias tape. Yes... that thing that is somewhat hard to handle.

I Have another ready to go. Snowden chose this one and Grashopper's will be posted later.

Ready for work

Lily went to work with her momma on take your kid to work day. Grasshopper, the Bear's momma, spend the day with her dad at work. Lily's new dress.

Women

As mothers, aunts, cousins, friends, sisters, and daughters.

I saw this in the bathroom of Mimi's Cafe and I had to get a picture. I love everything about it and I might get brave and paint something similar.

Moving along

With my squares.

They are really all different. I try and balance out the colors for a nice blend effect but there's a lot of room to be creative and spontaneous.

I am now planning the look of the blanket pattern. I will have to stop by Attic24 for ideas.
