Backseat organizer

It is coming along, requiring the use of bias tape. Yes... that thing that is somewhat hard to handle.

I Have another ready to go. Snowden chose this one and Grashopper's will be posted later.

Ready for work

Lily went to work with her momma on take your kid to work day. Grasshopper, the Bear's momma, spend the day with her dad at work. Lily's new dress.

I saw this in the bathroom of Mimi's Cafe and I had to get a picture. I love everything about it and I might get brave and paint something similar.

Moving along

They are really all different. I try and balance out the colors for a nice blend effect but there's a lot of room to be creative and spontaneous.

I am now planning the look of the blanket pattern. I will have to stop by Attic24 for ideas.

New Frontiers

Same pattern packet as the sleep shorts below. This would be the corresponding top, which I started in my outdoor sewing station. The fan made it breezy and comfortable.

I will most likely make some changes in the piece in the name of simplification. We'll see.

Being the ultimate stickler for substance, he asked me to do a round of white between each color in the border.

The work of art is his to use... in cooler weather or when the AC is blasting.

Coloring my world

This time I will let the moment guide the color that comes next. It is one of my favorite things to do, this this called creativity when the brain sparks and and image or a thought appears, leaving one in glee.

What's going on

Made more bags, toy bags to be precise. I have placed them in my goody closet to be used as gifts later.

And the DH blanket is now assembled according to the pattern he designed. I'll start working on the border later today.

She's made with a softer yarn and it feels so good to the touch.
